Unlike many communities, Kelleys Island has had a remarkable history of people stepping up to chronicle and share this Island’s news. Here are some of these newspapers. Unfortunately, we are missing a few issues – so if you have any, let us know so we can scan them and include them.

Published during each winter, the Islander contained hundreds of pages of Island news. Only two issues are missing from the collection. Because of the size of the collection, these pages have not been scanned; however, they are available on microfilm in the Sandusky and Kelleys Island libraries and at the Western Reserve Historical Society Library in Cleveland.
