KI Historical Assoc. showcases new gift shop, Charles Herndon steps down from Board and Cindy Herndon is elected President. New floor completed in church. Herndon’s host Summer Solstice Soiree. KI’s Got Talent is new event. Lake Erie Islands International Consortium meets at Kelleys Island. OSU Stone Lab comes to the KI field station. The school receives a $3000 grant from Erie County Community Foundation for microscopes. Cindra Mielke and Jeni Hammond do another benefit swim (25 years now).

KI Audubon reports that since 1996: 15, 011 individuals and 118 species were banded. KI Landowners host welcome back pot luck, Jack Wade drives to Texas, and Delores Cole passes away.

2019 November/December – KI Running Club kids finish season. The Mayor remembers Jay Johnson and the Dairy Delight. Make-A-Wish Swim and Golf Cart poker run generated second largest donation to MAW (every year). KILA recaps 2019 activities. KILA has 243 active members. Jessica Wolf and Steen Imholt wedding in October. Harvest was cancelled but decorations still went up.
